Why Workout the Back?

Probably the most undervalued muscle group is the back because weight lifters tend to ignore it or work it half heartedly. It’s a big mistake because although it’s a muscle that doesn’t get looked at a lot, it’s a muscle that takes a crucial part in strengthening the entire body. Most weight lifters goals are to gain strength and gain mass, particularly in the more glamorous areas like the arms and the chest (areas that are more visible). Obtain a free weight training program and you’ll see why strengthening the back is so important.
